6 Easy Tips Make Your Morning Routine Effortless

If you’re not a morning person, chances are you’re always getting late on dressing up or you rush to work without having your beauty routine done thoroughly. Shave time off your beauty routine with our time-saving tips, and you’ll enjoy pressing snooze one more time.

Easy Tips Make Your Morning Routine Effortless

Easy Tips Make Your Morning Routine Effortless

  1. Keep your makeup organized for a more seamless morning experience.

There’s no right or wrong way to store your lipsticks, blushes, foundations, and mascaras, as long as you know where they are, so you don’t waste time digging in a messy drawer. If you’re a makeup collector, think of organizing your eye shadows, mascaras, and eyeliners together. On the other hand, blushes and bronzers will be separated from your collection of lipsticks and lip liners.

  1. Choose the right tools.

High-end makeup won’t give you much benefit if you don’t have the right tools. Think of high-quality brushes and sponges that will blend your makeup well. You could blow dry, flat iron, and then curl your hair or you could grab one of the new hot tools that do all three at once. There are a lot of beauty tools like a hair dryer that dries and styles your hair in literally half the time, with a design that prevents tangles.

  1. Make your products multitask.

A great way to trim the number of products you need is to reach for ones that do double duty. Makeup artist and brow expert Ramy Gafni believes in “minimum makeup, maximum impact” and that’s welcome news for your morning routine.” There are some cheek stain that adds a dewy flush of color across lips and cheeks, or a sunscreen and a pressed powder, with a hint of color.

  1. Use every moment when doing your beauty rituals.

Most of us don’t have enough time to launch projects like face masks, hair masks, or pedicures in the morning, but if you’re going to try to squeeze one in, try to cross another task off your list at the same time. Like fashion blogger Kristina Bazan, you can do your makeup base at home and do some retouches on mascara, blush, or lipstick while you’re sitting on car. With anything that involves sitting for 20 minutes, try to do some sort of chore while it cooks.

  1. Invest in semi-permanent beauty.

You can skip eye makeup entirely with eyelash extensions, which can give your eyes a lush, done look with zero need for liner or mascara. “You can get away with so much less makeup and it saves so much time in the morning,” says writer Andrea Marks Carneiro.  Just make sure the lash artist is certified, so she can customize the look and style of your lashes to suit the set and shape of your eye.

  1. Use dry shampoo and go for an effortless hairstyle.

If you’re having a bad hair day and just over doing anything about it, simply pin it up in a messy chignon or wear a beanie. Beauty blogger Carla Maganinho recommends using dry shampoo or even baby powder the night before. “My hair always looks better than when I spray it in the next morning,” she says. “And my tossing and turning during the night seem to give my hair more volume,” she added. By heeding these tricks, you’ll be able to look great in no time.
